Sometime back in December I was really craving Raisinets. I remember hanging with my parents and saying “Man, I can go for a few Raisinets right about now”. The next day there were two boxes on my bed when I got home. My Mom picked them up for me while Christmas shopping. She was always doing stuff like that. It always made me feel special and assured me she listened to what I said (even the stupid stuff).
I craved Raisinets today and I opened up the second box my Mom gave me (I ate the first one rather quickly). As I eat these delectable treats I am reminded of my Mom’s kindness and consideration for others.
Sometimes I get so busy I forget to pick up the Raisinets. I get so caught up that I miss what people are craving. I think to myself, “I should send ::insert name here:: an email” or “::insert name here:: is having a rough day, I should give them a call”. But at the end of the day I forget to pick up the Raisinets.
Picked up a box of Raisinets lately?
